Discover one of Europe's migration flyways. Our accommodation will be on the Costa de la Luz, just north of the surfing town of Tarifa, at the comfortable Hotel La Codorniz.
At this time of year we should experience the peak of bird of prey migration across the strait of Gibraltar. Species such as Booted Eagle, Short-toed Eagle, Montagu's Harrier, Egyptian Vulture, Black Kite, Lesser Kestrel and sometimes rarer species such as Pallid Harrier and Eleonora's Falcon can be seen from the areas around the strait of Gibraltar.
When we are not watching the skies we will head into the surrounding countryside and further afield to the coast of Cadiz and the mountains of Grazalema, both areas which numerous species call home.
We will also visit some of the area's lesser known sites that hold some wonderful species such as European Chameleon, Rufous Bushchat and Black-winged Kite.
